Dashain

Sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been trying to take full advantage of my time here. Most days that has meant being out on the streets shooting by 5:30am, and crashing at about 9 at night, without much in the way of downtime in between. I’ve taken more than 6000 pictures so far, though the majority of them will be deleted, partly because I’ve been shooting from moving buses or pushing the limits of the camera by shooting before the sun comes up or after it goes down. If there end up being six in there that I’m really happy with that’s almost one good shot per day. For now, I’ve uploaded a few images from Bhaktapur during the Dashain festival.

My hosts at the guesthouse have been terrific and it’s been fun to spend some time with Anuj at his family’s home.

    • Yep we all expected that Adam would ask about the bike. Wow great pictures. It sounds like this will be long remembered as one of your best trips, enjoy.

  2. I love these photos, Jason. You are blessed to have such a talent and be able to exercise it there in Nepal. Enjoy the experience.
